Gunners supporters are notorious for getting their way when it comes to online democracy, with Jack Wilshere’s 2014/15 goal of the season victory the example which most will reference by way of explanation.
The official Arsenal Twitter account seems to have shown a fair bit of self-awareness in recent times, but it went back to square one this week.
Frank Pallotta is a New York-based journalist, working with CNN, who has recently been bitten by the Premier League bug.
He asked his followers to help him decide which team to support, after narrowing his choices down to two teams who play in red shirts.

Now, anyone familiar with Twitter polls will know that Arsenal were always likely to be favourites for this, but they had to go that one step further to seal the deal.
With nearly nine million Arsenal fans recruited to help the cause, a dead cert became an even deader cert.
At the time of writing, the London club have more than 80% of the nearly 2,000 votes cast.
Liverpool are yet to make a similarly desperate plea. But why would they, given that they have next to no hope of overcoming the Arsenal juggernaut?
And, as responses from some Gunners fans suggest, the result was never really in doubt.
