This is getting ridiculous.

It looks like Louis van Gaal has cast some sort of injury jinx on opposite number Manuel Pellegrini ahead of the forthcoming Manchester derby on October 25. On Thursday night, Sergio Aguero injured his hamstring for Argentina against Equador; that was followed on Friday with the news that David Silva had damaged his ankle in Spain's game with Luxembourg. To add to Man City's woes, Aleks Kolarov was forced to depart Serbia's game with Portugal on Sunday with an injury - and then received a red card once he had hobbled to the bench.
