Amanda Nunes trolls Ronda Rousey with her first Instagram post since UFC 207

Adding insult to injury...

Amanda Nunes couldn’t resist landing a cheeky dig on Ronda Rousey.

The Brazilian fighter made light work of Rousey in their bout at UFC 207 in Las Vegas. Rousey’s return to the Octagon didn’t even last a minute.

Nunes landed a series of devastating blows on the 29-year-old, overpowering her and leaving the referee with little choice but to step-in and end the fight.

In the post-fight press conference, Nunes was respectful towards Rousey. Mostly.

She told reporters that she had praised her opponent in the Octagon immediately after the bout.

“I told her ‘you did a lot for the sport’,” Nunes said.

“‘You did a lot, but now you can take time and do something else. You don’t need to keep doing that (sic).”

However, she also urged Rousey to retire.

The American won her first 12 MMA fights in convincing style, but has suffered two heavy losses in a row.

Last November, Holly Holm stopped her in Melbourne with a kick to the head that left her unconscious, and now Nunes took her apart with apparent ease.

Her future in the sport appears uncertain, and this Instagram post from Nunes adds insult to injury.

Nunes might have been somewhat respectful of Rousey in the immediate aftermath of her win, but couldn’t resist a cheeky dig with her first social media post following UFC 207.
