Alisson shows reflexes of a cat with save during Liverpool warm-up

Yep, Alisson is decent

Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson is good at many things, but namely being handsome as all hell and stopping the ball from going into the net. He has exhibited examples of both since joining Liverpool from AS Roma last summer and has helped the Reds remain in the title race going into the final couple of weeks of the season.

On Friday, Jurgen Klopp’s side faced Huddersfield Town and dispatched of the already relegated size with the ease of a parent picking up their toddler and placing them inside a cot.

Alisson was barely troubled throughout the game bar a couple of saves here and there, and in fact the most work he had to do all evening came from a shot from one of his own players before the match had even kicked off.

A video posted by Liverpool on the club’s Twitter account prior to the game showed players taking part in shooting practice before kick-off.

Standing alongside Mohamed Salah, Virgil van Dijk notices his Brazilian keeper both of his line and facing towards the goal. The Dutch defender hits a lovely little chip over Alisson but just at the last minute he turns around, sees the ball and tips it over the bar.

Proof, if nothing else, that you need to get up a little earlier in the morning to catch him out.
