AI supercomputer predicts 2026/27 Premier League table with some major calls

The season is only a week away!

According to the Yorkshire Evening Post, experts at Tipman Tips entered the data into the model and ran a full season simulation to predict final standings.

Let's dive straight into it.

1. Arsenal (88 points)

The shackles are off after winning the title and the formidable Gunners are set to go again.

2. Man City (82 points)

The Enzo Maresca is seen to be seamless and City put up a great title fight, just coming short come the end of the season.

3. Chelsea (76 points)

A valiant effort. Xabi Alonso is set to bring the structure and the results after a previously underwhelming campaign. Chelsea are set to be much improved.

4. Liverpool (74 points)

An improvement for Liverpool, comfortably clinching the Champions League spot despite a transitional season under new gaffer Andoni Iraola.

5. Aston Villa (70 points)

Not a bad effort from Unai Emery's Villains despite losing some big players. The reigning Europa League champions go for the Champions League spots once more.

6. Newcastle United (68 points)

The biggest surprise so far. Newcastle have lost top assets in Anthony Gordon, Sandro Tonali and Bruno Guimaraes, but the absence of European football is expected to seriously benefit the tight-knit squad.

7. Man United (66 points)

The supercomputer predicts a slight fall for United after a successful interim spell for Michael Carrick. Balancing the Champions League and the Prem again is seen to be a stumbling block, and United settle for 7th.

8. Spurs (60 points)

Much better. Spurs have aggressively recruited after a season of turmoil, and Roberto De Zerbi is the man to lead them back to the top half.

9. Brighton (58 points)

Steady. Fabian Hurzeler's Brighton may have lost bagsman Danny Welbeck, but they keep recruitely astutely and take a top-half spot.

10. Bournemouth (56 points)

Despite losing their genius gaffer, Bournemouth are still anticipated to juggle European football with a respectable top-half finish.

11. Brentford (54 points)

Steady away. With likes of Brazil striker Igor Thiago in your ranks, you'll always do alright. A decent mid-table finish for Keith Andrews as he steadies the ship post-Frank.

12. Crystal Palace (52 points)

The dawn of a new era. Messiah Oliver Glasner gave major trophies to Palace, the FA Cup and the Conference League. Palace are in Europe, but with the new Pierre Sage in charge, they're expected to comfortably finish mid-table.

13. Everton (50 points)

David Moyes has stabilised the ship at Everton after years of flirting with relegation. It's predicted to be another mid-table finish for the Toffees.

14. Fulham (48 points)

Fulham are in a period of change after losing stalwart gaffer Marco Silva and attacking talisman Harry Wilson. The Cottagers are still expected to beat the drop.

15. Nottingham Forest (46 points)

A surprise. Forest now don't have to juggle European football and domestic football, and they've made a shrewd appointment in Oliver Glasner.

16. Sunderland (44 points)

Typical 'second season syndrome' for Sunderland, alongside playing strenuous Europa League football.

17. Leeds United (42 points)

Leeds have recruited wisely, but the supercomputer predicts them to finish just above the bottom three.

18. Coventry City (40 points)

A valiant effort from Frank's boys. Coventry City are giving it a proper go, smashing their transfer record, bringing back Gustavo Hamer and adding Taiwo Awoniyi to their ranks, but it's still not seen as enough.

19. Hull City (36 points)

The Tigers are giving it a proper shot after play-off promotion, but the gulf between the two divisions is just seen as too much for the supercomputer.

20. Ipswich Town (34 points)

A club with much stability, the resignation of stalwart gaffer Kieran McKenna is seen to disrupt the Tractor Boys' season.
