AC Milan’s new loan signing has been told that he’s carrying too much excess weight and that he must slim down before he gets a starting spot with the Rossoneri.
Milan manager Sinisa Mihajlovic wants the former Liverpool striker to shed half a stone.
“He’s not played for a while and he still has to improve,” Mihajlovic told La Gazzetta dello Sport.
“He’s training well and his physical tests are satisfactory, but he’s overweight: he’s on a diet and when he’s ready he will play.”
We’ve heard a number of adjectives used to describe Balotelli in his career – lazy, slow, mental – but we’ve never heard accusations of fatness being levelled against him.
