The Reds' future look just as bright as their current situation
On the latest episode of Liquid Football, host Kelly Cates is joined by former Liverpool defender Stephen Warnock and former Reading midfielder Steve Sidwell.
You will not be surprised to hear that the first topic of discussion is the weekend's incredible Merseyside derby, in which Liverpool's reserves and youngsters shocked a full strength Everton side at Anfield.
The panel discuss Everton's failure to gain victory over Liverpool at Anfield, as well as the elite mentality that Jurgen Klopp has instilled at the club, from the first team down to the youngsters.
Particularly impressive was match winner Curtis Jones, who responded to his goal by stating that he is frustrated that he cannot get into the team. The panel are impressed by that, but wonder how teammates like Adam Lallana and James Milner might respond.
Also up for discussion is the FA Cup and its current format, as well as what tactics players utilise when trying to swap shirts with players after a match.
