On Fridays, we quiz
Which television event are you most looking forward to this weekend – the FA Cup final or Eurovision? The correct answer of course is both. These events are to be enjoyed equally, as the cultural cornerstones of the year they are.
Both will spark jubilation and heartache, tears of sadness and joy. Both will feature absolute bangers (Abide With Me goes hard before the cup final). Both will at some point feel like they are dragging, before kicking back into gear.
Both will (probably) be improved with beer.
But before we get into Saturday’s fun, there is, as always, the quiz to do, which weirdly is quite light on FA Cup and Eurovision content (just the one question on each).
Instead, you can enjoy coffee and cartoon characters on your Friday lunchtime.
