Afternoon quizzers. Can I start off by congratulating you all? You've trudged through 2024, muddled your way through life's trial and tribulations, and once again have made it to December.
It's time to cash in some chips. Throw your fitness regimes and diets out the window, wind down the productivity at work, and coast your way through to Christmas. You've earned it.
Do NOT coast your way through these quizzes though. That is forbidden. The pub quiz, no matter the time of year, requires your full undivided attention.
Switch off for these quizzes and your scores will suffer. If you can live with that, fine, but just know that you'll lose my respect.
The temptation to go full Christmas for this week's quiz has been resisted, but you're still getting a round on advent calendars, to whet your festive appetite.
This, combined with a round on the birthplaces of celebrities, should be the perfect way to round off the first week of December.
