Politics has many tropes and stereotypes, whether it be gammons or snowflakes, champagne socialists or beer conservatives, or just where you do the 'big shop', your habits say a lot about you - apparently.
This is what a new study by research organisation More in Common has revealed, as they split the nation into political shoppers.
There are of course some shops which line up with expectation, however, there are a few curveballs in there too.
The data is based off an overall voting intention.
Labour leads overall at 26 per cent vote share, with the Tories second on 22 per cent, Reform third on 20 per cent, Lib dems on 12, Greens on 8, Restore on 7 and the rest as other.
This voting intention is important because it explains some of the trends in the data, since the largest number of respondents are Labour voters.
Labour voters lead in four supermarkets, Tesco, Asda, Aldi and...Waitrose - yes, the true home of the champagne socialist.
M&S and Sainsbury's are the Tory heartlands while Reform topped the bunch in Morrisons and Lidl.
However, while they may not dominate the supermarkets, the Lib Dems, Greens and Restore all have their favourites.
Unsurprisingly, the Lib Dems favourite is Waitrose, the Greens love a bit of Lidl and Restore can't resist going to Aldi.
