WATCH: Donald Trump repeatedly say “oranges” when he means “origins”

Rudi Kinsella

It is a tough one, in fairness.

Donald Trump has had a few slip-ups in the old words department.

And in fairness to the man, if we had to speak publicly every single day, we’d probably make a few mistakes too.

Although considering how much he tweets, you think he’d invest in some form of proof reader…

And even though we’re cutting the US president a bit of slack, that doesn’t mean we’re not going to laugh at his desperate attempt to say the word “origins” while speaking to press in the White House.

Take a look:

Oranges – origins. We see how he’s mixing them up. Over and over again. A perfectly reasonable mistake to make.

This isn’t the first time something like this has happened either.

Just six months ago, he tried to take on the word “anonymously”, and failed miserably. At least he gave it a go.

In the same 24 hours, he also said that his father was “born in Germany”, when he actually was born and raised in New York.

Just another day at the oval office.
