YouTuber permanently banned from streaming site after crashing $200k car while using phone

He's begging for donations after being banned from the site 

Doherty, 20, a popular YouTuber and streamer, was on his phone whilst at the wheel of the supercar with his friend filming in the passenger seat.

The camera pans forward to show the wet road conditions, capturing the final moments before the content creator veers right and loses control, crashing into the side barrier of a dual carriageway.

No serious injuries were reported, but Doherty’s cameraman had blood on his face following the crash, and it was later confirmed that his injuries required stitches.

Instead of seeking medical help, Doherty pulled his phone out and filmed the aftermath, asking his injured cameraman to keep on recording.

Now, the streamer has been permanently banned from the streaming platform Kick, as he appears to confirm in a short video where he converses with a fellow streamer about the crash.

The video can be seen in the embedded tweet below.

In the video Doherty can be heard through the phone saying, "he got, like, three stitches... Yeah, I'm banned on Kick now."

Upon being asked if it was permanent by the person in the video he replies, "Bro, yeah! They said it's a permanent."

Doherty has also been seen begging for donations on TikTok claiming that he is broke after the accident.

The youtuber spoke out following the incident.

Taking to X he posted: "Going to post a more detailed response today but it’s been 24 hours since the accident and I just want to say how grateful I am that Michael and I are alive. I’m so sorry Michael for putting you thru that.

"Thank you to all the first responders and everyone who helped us get out of the car. This could’ve been so much worse and it’s a huge learning lesson."

However, despite the apology, Doherty has been slammed online for his reaction as viewers accused him of caring more about his car than his friend.

New footage online shows Doherty being dragged from the car through the window by passersby. He walks around the car saying: “My f**king car, holy s**t no.”

After a few moments, he goes round to the passenger side where cameraman, Michael is still trapped inside, holding his arm with blood running down his face.
