'Sex is very much off the menu'
One-night stands at the
World Cup in Qatar will be officially outlawed under the rules around sex outside of marriage in
Qatar.
While the controversy around holding a World Cup in a country that
bans homosexuality has very much been the big talking ahead of the competition this winter,
FIFA officials have now warned that anyone who might 'score' outside of the tournament can face an entirely different kind of penalty.
Both officials authorities have warned that there will be “no exceptions” made for anyone who decides to take someone back to their hotel room, with a
UK police source telling the Daily Star that “sex is very much off the menu, unless you are coming as a husband and wife team" and confirming that "there definitely will be no one-night stands at this tournament."
UK police issue warnings to fans
British law enforcement are obviously concerned for UK fans attending games and the potential culture shock when they realise all the "everyday things accepted at and after [regular] games” are off the table and while not everyone celebrates a win in this particular way, “there is essentially a sex ban in place at this year’s World Cup for the first time ever."
The insider went on to remark, "There will be no partying at all really. Everyone needs to keep their heads about them, unless they want to risk being stuck in prison."
Elsewhere, it has been confirmed that any LGBTQ+ fans choosing to fly over and support their team will face additional obstacles as reports have suggested that fans have
already had hotel rooms rejected by local businesses, only further compounding criticism of the tournament being held.
