Forget Glastonbury, this is going to be the festival event of the year.
Yes, the Fresh Prince and DJ Jazzy Jeff are heading to the UK to headline the Livewire Festival in Blackpool. The duo behind '90s smash hits such as 'Summertime' and 'Boom! Shake The Room' will be heading up north on August 27 this year.
Smith, the rapper-turned-acting megastar announced two shows through a video posted to his Facebook page, the other being an appearance at the MTV Summerblast festival in Croatia the night before.
The post was captioned "First two shows are locked!! Y'all ready?!", implying that we'll be seeing more from Will and Jeff (sounds a lot less glamorous when you just use their forenames) out on the road.
Tickets for Livewire Festival go on sale at 10am on Tuesday 25 April. Will Smith and DJ Jazzy Jeff will appear alongside fellow headliners The Jacksons and The Hit Factory, who will headline the Friday and Saturday nights respectively.
Check out the Livewire Festival website for more info.
This is also the perfect excuse to bust out 'Summertime', not that we ever really need one.
