VIDEO: Foo Fighters smash those pesky breakup rumours in a great prank video

Foo Fighters are taking none of your guff.

Rumours that the band are set to break up have been put to bed in a funny spoof video. Recently, there had been speculation that the band was to split up due to apparent tension between Dave Grohl and drummer Taylor Hawkins. A stunning performance by Dave at the Oscars got even more tongues wagging, with many thinking Dave was going solo and the band was going to take a break. So when the band said they'd be making an official announcement late on Wednesday night, fans were readying themselves for a gut punch, only to find this excellent spoof break up video. The seven-minute sketch sees Dave talk one on one with producer Butch Vig before deciding to leave the band. In need of a new vocalist, the Foo Fighters try and find a replacement before eventually settling on... well, we'll leave you to watch it and find out. The message is clear, in fact the Foo Fighters even spell it out for us at the end of the video, "For the millionth time, we aren’t breaking up. And nobody’s going f—ing solo!"
