Video: Luis Suarez makes this cancer stricken boy cry…in a good way

We may need to re-evaluate our opinions on Luis Suarez.

After his numerous controversies on the football pitch, we had him pegged as a nasty piece of work, but he actually seems like a sound enough fella off the field. The Barcelona forward took time away from his preparations for his side's Champions League semi-final against Bayern Munich to speak to a young Uruguayan boy who is undergoing cancer treatment. Suarez pretended to be a Spanish doctor as he video-called young Mateo, a patient at a Dr Perez Scremini Foundation, before revealing himself as the lad's hero. The former Liverpool striker moved the boy so much that Mateo was left wiping away tears of happiness.
