The coastguard rescue helicopter is searching Snowdonia for Ausra
An urgent search is underway for a woman who disappeared while walker her dog on Tuesday.
North Wales Police said Ausra Plungiene went out with her pet in Snowdonia and is now missing.
The 56-year-old has not been seen since and police are concerned for her safety.
Police have released pictures of Ausra and her dog, and are asking the residents in the area to remain vigilant.
Officers urged anyone who had seen her or had information about the disappearance to ring 101 quoting incident no A052734.
On Wednesday morning, the coastguard rescue helicopter was searching the area above Snowdonia, according to North Wales Live.
A police spokesperson has said that there are “concerns for 56-year-old Ausra Plungiene, who went walking with her dog in Snowdonia, on Tuesday, 11 April and is now missing.”
