TV channel playing 24/7 Christmas films is back on air in the UK

It's that time of year again

To keep those folks entertained, a channel which is dedicated to showing Christmas films 24/7 is now back on air in the UK.

The free TV channel shows back-to-back festive films 24-hours a day, seven days a week.

The channel GREAT! Christmas, which is the UK’s biggest seasonal channel, has been entertaining audiences for the past three years and has returned to Sky, Freesat, Freeview and Virgin Media.

For almost four months, audiences will be treated to festive favourites as well as Hallmark classics as the 24-hour, feel-good channel burst with Christmas spirit.

GREAT! Christmas can be found on Freeview channel 51, Sky 319, Virgin 424 and Freely 47.

The channel returned to screens on September 5 and will run until Tuesday 7 January 2025.

On the schedule so far are films such as ‘A Blueridge Mountain Christmas’, ‘The Sweetest Christmas’, ‘A Song For Christmas’ and ‘A Very British Christmas’.

This week, the channel’s theme is Christmas with Love and at 2pm and 4pm everyday will show the most popular romantic Christmas films.

Next week the theme changes to Christmas with a Crown and at 8pm each evening Monday – Friday will air a Christmas film with a royal twist.

The weekends each have a different theme as well with Cooking Up Christmas the chosen theme on 22 September while a wedding themed festive film will air on 28 September.

GREAT! Christmas will temporarily replace GREAT! Romance over the next few months.
