Police in Australia have confirmed that three people have died following a skydiving accident.
It's not known at this point what led to the accident, but the police were alerted when the body of a skydiver was found in the back garden of a home near Mission Beach. An eyewitness told Cairns News that he saw one skydiver fall to the ground without their parachute released. He said that it wasn't clear why the parachute hadn't been released and that a collision could have happened at a higher altitude.
