This Neo-Nazi has no idea what the “white Britain” he wants would look like

The thing is about racism is, it's not very clever.

Neo-Nazi youth group National Action had egg on their faces this week (I mean, more than the usual amount for forming a Neo-Nazi group in 2016, but whatever), after one member was filmed getting in a twist over their idea of a "white Britain". The group - described as a “National Socialist youth organisation” by its own organisers, but “Hitler-loving” and “racist” by its critics - took to the streets of Bath this past weekend for a small demonstration. Deputy leader Alex Davies was handing out leaflets when he was approached by a mother and daughter who filmed their conversation. The video sees the mother gesture to her daughter before asking Alex whether or not she would be "booted out" of the country because she is mixed race. "I don't know, she looks white to me", responds Alex. When the mum tells him she's mixed race, he replies with, "Well, I mean you’re saying that, but you could just be saying that for argument’s sake." It's almost as if they hadn't really thought through their plans of judging people by their skin colour... Seeing he's on the end of a losing argument, Alex and a few other members of Davies' group leave, causing our camerawoman to shout, "Go on, f--k off" after them, to applause from passersby. The video of the exchange has since been posted to the Hope Not Hate Facebook page. As the son of a West African immigrant to the UK, this was a lot of fun for me to watch.
