The man has a distinctive ‘playing card’ tattoo which the police hope will allow them to contact his family.

The Met police are desperately trying to discover the identity of a man who was taken to hospital after he was found collapsed in the street.

The man has a distinctive playing cards tattoo on his shoulder and was found at 8.40pm on Saturday on Holloway Road, London.

When he was discovered he had stopped breathing, with officers reviving him through CPR.

Authorities would like to hear from anyone able to identify the man, so his family can be notified about his critical condition.

Police said in a statement: “He is described as a black male, aged around 50, 6ft 4” tall, of muscular build with a bald head. He has a scar beneath his right eyebrow and a tattoo on his right shoulder of two playing cards [one card displays a cross and the other a heart].

“Anyone with any information is asked to contact the Central North Operations Room by dialling 101 and quoting reference 18FOU001925.”
