The Missing actress Emilie Dequenne has died aged 43.
The Belgian actress was diagnosed two years ago with a very rare form of cancer, adrenocortical carcinoma.
Dequenne revealed in October 2023 that she was starting treatment, and in April 2024 shared the good news she was in remission.
She wrote on social media at the time: "I was close to forgetting because I was leaving the hospital today after 13 days… What a tough battle."
Unfortunately, she told French TV show, TF1 last year that her cancer had returned.
Speaking openly on the show, she heartbreakingly said: "I know I will not live as long as planned."
Duquesne best known for her role as Laurence Relaud in BBC's popular drama, The Missing.
Additionally, she won the Best Actress award at the Cannes Film Festival for her role in the film Rosetta.
