Back in May, the world's most famous Drugs Guy Joe Rogan shocked the podcasting world by announcing his show, The Joe Rogan Experience, would be moving to Spotify exclusively in a deal rumoured to be worth over $100m.
UFC commentator-turned-DMT-enthusiast Rogan is bringing his 190M monthly downloads to the platform, and is part of Spotify's huge podcast push which includes exclusive shows from Michelle Obama and Kim Kardashian.
His full shows will now be available here on Spotify for the first time in its 7 year history.
From the end of the year, full JRE shows will no longer appear on apple podcasts or YouTube and will live exclusively on Spotify. The full length videos will be on Spotify as full-length "vodcasts" and remain free and available to all Spotify users.
Rogan has nearly 10m subscribers on Youtube and is the 50th biggest channel on the platform. He's also attracted criticism in the past for his interviews with controversial figures like conspiracy nutjob Alex Jones and Tesla founder Elon Musk.
