With the odds of getting a ticket to Oasis’ reunion tour next year equating to 40/1, it is probably too soon to get excited since many will miss out.
However, fans have already started to think about what the Mancunian band’s setlist might look like.
With the rise of AI, they’re not the only ones predicting the running order as SportsCasting has asked AI to predict what songs may be included in the highly anticipated run of shows.
It goes without saying that UK Number ones like ‘Some Might Say’ and ‘Don’t Look Back In Anger’ are predicted to be in the line-up as are classics like ‘Live Forever’, ‘Wonderwall’ and ‘Champagne Supernova’.
The supercomputer has also predicted that the band will play a Beatles cover as well as at least one song from every one of their albums.
Neil Roarty, content lead at SportsCasting said: “Since Oasis fans have been waiting over 15 years to see their heroes perform together again, it comes as no surprise to see AI predicting that the Gallagher brothers and co will put on one almighty setlist for their reunion tour in 2025.”
The supercomputer predicts that the Gallagher brothers will open with Acquiesce, the B-side of their first UK number-one single, ‘Some Might Say’.
The 23-song setlist includes a four-song encore which features a cover of The Beatles song ‘I Am The Walrus’ and ends with fan favourite, ‘Champagne Supernova’ a song which was not actually released as a single in the UK but enjoyed success in the States.
‘Half The World Away’, the theme tune to the popular British TV sitcom ‘The Royle Family’ which starred Caroline Aherne and Ricky Tomlinson, is also included on the setlist.
The prediction was formulated by artificial intelligence (AI) after combining the likes of ChatGPT, Gemini and Bing AI.
Despite their 15 year hiatus, Oasis remain one of the best-selling music artists of all time having sold over 75 million records worldwide.
The tour starts on 4 July 2025 at the Principality Stadium, Cardiff and tickets go on sale at 9am on Saturday, 31 August.
