The man died after an accident in Ballythomas, County Wexford

A man in his 60s has reportedly died after a tree fell on top of him as he cleared away debris left behind by Storm Eunice. Police in Ireland said the incident happened early Friday afternoon in Ballythomas, County Wexford. The man was thought to have been working with a colleague cleaning up tree debris when he was killed, Metro reported. The death follows an earlier fatality on Thursday evening when a man died after falling from a lorry at work during strong winds from Storm Dudley.

The employee who was in his 60s, was said to have lost his balance and fallen around twelve feet from a double-decker wagon, while he tried to unload heavy goods in high winds in Maston Green, neat Solihull, ITV reported.
