Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer will deliver a news conference from Downing Street at 10 am, giving an update on the situation in the Middle East and the UK's response.
Starmer is expected to discuss how the government is supporting families at home with the cost of living, according to Sky News.
A series of support measures kicks in today, including a higher minimum wage and benefits increases, as well as frozen energy, prescription, and rail costs.
However, since these policies were unveiled in last November’s budget, the Prime Minister is likely to face questions on what further steps he is taking as energy prices continue to soar.
Starmer’s address will take place just hours after Donald Trump launched another attack, criticising him for refusing to join the war.
Trump told the UK to "go get your own oil," referring to the ongoing effective closure of the Strait of Hormuz, a key route for much of the world’s oil supply.
