Frank Vincent, who was best known for playing Phil Leotardo on The Sopranos and Billy Batts in Goodfellas, has died aged 78.
According to Variety, his Sopranos co-star, Vincent Pastore, took to Facebook to announce the news.
Frank Vincent also acted in several of Martin Scorsese's films including Raging Bull and Casino.
Vincent died of complications from heart surgery in New Jersey, TMZ reported.
The media outlet report that:
"Vincent suffered a heart attack last week, and underwent open-heart surgery Wednesday. He died during the surgery."
