A singer, who performs under the name Delarosa, has been shot dead aged 22.
The Latin artist, Maria De La Rosa, was hit by gunfire in what has been described as an 'ambush-style' killing.
The incident took place in Los Angeles.
The shooting took place on November 22nd at around 1.25am near Bryant Street east of Tampa Avenue in Northridge.
LAPD officials said that witnesses saw two males run up to a parked car before firing multiple rounds, hitting three people in the car.
Delarosa was rushed to hospital before being pronounced dead.
Two other victims were listed as in a critical condition this weekend.
Delarosa was best known for her song No Me Llames which was released in August.
An investigation into the shooting is ongoing.
