There's a plane that could signal only five minutes left of your life if you spot it in the sky.
Luckily, there's been no need for the use of these aircrafts, however the US have four of these ready in preparation for the worst of the worst.
Yikes!
With the idea of a nuclear war being something that has been talked about all too much for liking, the US have a plan in place if they ever do wound up in the situation.
The fact of Donald Trump receiving the 'nuclear football' has made many uneasy.
Should it ever become a reality, they have mere minutes to get the planes off the ground and establish a command and control centre, all while steering clear of any potential attack targets.
This plan has been entitled the National Airborne Operations Centre (NAOC), for which four E-4B's have been prepared, which in normal terms are modified Boeing 747-200s.
The running of the E-4B's will set the military back $159,529 (£126,000) per hour to operate, making it the Air Force's most expensive plane.
They will be used to carry and protect key figures such as the President, as well as military officials.
Those inside the aircraft will be protected from the attack due to its advanced thermal and nuclear shielding.
Needed to be ready to go at any given moments, one of the planes runs 24 hours a day, all set for takeoff.
Additionally, the doomsday plane can run for an entire week once airborne due to its refuelling capabilities, as well as being loaded with protective measures to prevent missile attacks.
The four planes are located at an Air Force Base that is also home to the US Strategic Command in Nebraska.
The planes are also used to transport officials overseas for events and commitments, therefore if you spot it in the sky, you shouldn't necessarily be in dire panic.
