Scarface and Ghostbusters II star Haris Yulin has died aged 88 after suffering a heart attack, his family announced.
They confirmed the sad news to Deadline.
The Emmy-nominated actor appeared in over 130 productions, and was also a prolific Broadway star.
Among his screen credits include Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Frasier, Training Day, Ozark, and Clear and Present Danger.
His Broadway roles include Hedda Gabler and The Diary of Anne Frank.
Yulin was due to begin production on new MGM show American Classic in just a matter of weeks.
Michael Hoffman, director of the show, shared a statement describing Yulin as 'one of the greatest artists ever encountered'.
"His marriage of immense technique with an always fresh sense of discovery, gave his work an immediacy and vitality and purity I’ve experienced nowhere else," Hoffman continued.
"And what he was as an actor, he was as a man, the grace, the humility, the generosity.
"All of us at American Classic have been blessed by our experience with him. He will always remain the beating heart of our show."
Yulin is survived by his wife Kristen Lowman, son-in-law Ted Mineo, nephew Martin Crane. His daughter, Claire Lucido, passed away in 2022.
