Royal family member Archduchess Estelle of Austria has died aged 46.
The heartbreaking death of the Archduchess has left European aristocracy in mourning.
She leaves behind her husband and their five young children.
The death of Archduchess Estelle was announced in the Carnet du Figaro bulletin.
The family, who reside in Nice, France, wrote: "Her husband, Archduke Carl Christian, their children, her parents, and her in-laws are deeply saddened to announce that Archduchess Estelle of Austria, née Lapra de Saint Romain, was called to God on Tuesday, March 4, 2025."
It was revealed that Archduchess Estelle was laid to rest on March 12 at the Cimiez Monastery in Nice.
French magazine Point De Vue reported that her cause of death was cancer.
Princess Astrid of Belgium was one of several European aristocrats to pay their respects to the Archduchess, including Prince Charles of Bourbon-Two Sicilies, Ferdinand of Habsburg, Princess Marie-Astrid of Luxembourg, and the Duke of Castro.
