Real Madrid give PSG ultimatum over Mbappe

PSG have been given until the end of Sunday to make a decision on Mbappe.

Real Madrid have given PSG until the end of tomorrow to accept their latest bid for Kylian Mbappe, and said that if a deal is not agreed then they will pull out of negotiations.

With just a year left on his contract, the French forward has told Paris Saint Germain that he wants to leave the club for Real Madrid. Los Blancos have submitted two bids for Mbappe, the latest of which was €170 million with an extra €10 million in add-ons.

Real have yet to receive a response from the French champions regarding this offer.

Now, Le Parisien reports that the club have given PSG until the end of Sunday to make a decision on the deal, or Real with withdraw their offer.

The French publication reports that Real Madrid are keen to get any deal with Mbappe sorted before Monday, when Mbappe will link up with the France national team ahead of World Cup qualifiers next week. The Spanish giants feel that it will be nigh on impossible to sort out a deal with the 22-year-old once he is with the national side.

With just a year left on his current contract, PSG now have a decision to make. Do they sell one of their prized assets this summer to Real Madrid, or hang on to Mbappe but risk seeing him leave for free next summer when his contract is over.

If PSG decide not to sell Mbappe this summer, then Real Madrid will look to agree a pre-contract agreement with the player in January.
