The 43-year-old shared the devastating update with her fans.
Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Teddi Mellencamp has shared that doctors have discovered five more tumors in her body just weeks after her emergency brain cancer surgery.
The 43-year-old clarified that the newly discovered tumours are all metastases of her melanoma, which she has been battling skin since 2022.
She revealed that brain tumors had been found last month after she had been suffering severe headaches.
The mother of three shared the devastating update with her fans on Instagram.
“Update from scans today, I have multiple tumors in my brain that weren’t able to be removed via surgery,” she said.
“I also have 2 tumors in my lung,” she continued.
The Bravo star shared that she will be starting immunotherapy and radiation treatment immediately.
The daughter of legendary musician John Cougar Mellencamp expressed that her ‘doctors are hopeful that immunotherapy and radiation will effectively treat them’.
Despite the heartbreaking news, the reality star said she was ‘feeling positive and excited’.
“I am feeling positive that I will win this battle, that I got this wig (I like the short hair, just not the bald spots), and that I can remember all of Angelina’s kids’ names,” she shared on Instagram.
Her co-star Dorit Kemsley wrote: “You got this Teddi! You’re stronger than you realize. I know you’ll win! You’re a fighter, keep fighting… you have a lot of love and support.”
Reality star Trishelle Cannatella praised Mellencamp as ‘the strongest person’.
“Only you would have brain surgery one week and be jogging on a treadmill the next.
“You are ready to fight! And I love the wig,” she commented.
