Rapper Young Scooter's cause of death has been revealed.
The rapper, whose real name was Kenneth Edward Bailey, died on his 39th birthday, on March 28.
He was best known for his collaborations with artists like Future and Gucci Mane.
Bailey died at Grady Marcus Trauma Center in Atlanta after being taken there by emergency medical services.
His cause of death has been revealed as blood loss due to being cut on his right thigh while climbing a wooden fence.
The medical examiner explained: "This injury was not a gunshot wound.
"Mr Bailey injured himself on organic (wooden) fencing material and/or woody debris after vaulting at least one fence," they added.
Lieutenant Andrew Smith of the Atlanta Police held a news conference following his death, revealing that officers had responded to disruption with a weapon at a home.
After a man shut the door on the officers, they established a perimeter, with two men attempting to flee.
Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported that one man returbed, however, the other, believed to be Bailey, jumped the fence.
“When officers located him on the other side of the fence, he appeared to have suffered an injury to his leg,” said Smith.
The manner of his death was ruled an accident.
