Prince William might be making it to the FA Cup final after all…

To those of you who thought William would be missing the Cup final for his brother's wedding, think again...

One way or another, Prince William is set to be a busy man on May 19, 2018…

That date is, of course, the date his younger brother Prince Harry is supposed to be marrying Meghan Markle at Windsor Castle. Obviously, William is expected to be there – quite possibly in the role as best man.

As was quickly realised by football fans up and down the country, the Royal Wedding will be held on the same day as the 2018 FA Cup final. In his role as president of the Football Association, William usually hands out the trophy to the winning team’s captain.

Given that he’ll be present at the wedding, many assumed he’d be missing out on the Cup Final as a result. This, however, may not be the case.

Kensington Palace has confirmed now that he’ll do his best to get to both.

“We have not gone into the timing of the the wedding but made it clear that the wedding and the FA Cup final will not clash,” a palace spokesperson said in a statement to the Mirror.

The wedding will likely take place in the morning while the match won’t kick off until 5.30pm, so Wills might just have to just nip away during the reception.

There are 23 miles between the two venues so it sounds doable. We wonder how his bro and new sister-in-law will feel about it if he does see fit to head off to Wembley.
