Speaking on Good Morning Britain, Piers said "Can't they just be kids, really?"

Piers Morgan isn’t a man to hold back his opinions, which makes it all the more entertaining when someone else calls him out on it.

On today’s edition of Good Morning Britain, the presenter turned his sights on David and Victoria Beckham, and their habit of sharing videos of their kids on social media.

In particular, he referenced recent videos of 11-year-old Cruz Beckham singing and performing songs, which were huge viral hits.

During a discussion with showbiz editor Richard Arnold about Cruz’s version of ‘The Cup Song’ that David shared yesterday, Morgan opined:

“Celebrity parents bang on about protecting their kids and privacy, and there they are Instagramming this 11-year-old to gazillions of people, trying to make him a star the way [his brother] Brooklyn is a photographer. Can’t they just be kids, really? Then when they leave school, make their own decisions, and if they want to go into this kind of thing, great. This to me is just shameless.”

There was a bit of mixed response to Morgan’s criticism of the Beckhams:

However, there still seems to be support for young Cruz’s pop ambitions…

Of course, there are a few doubters too…
