Responding to this morning's news of CCTV footage which seemingly captures Hancock's affair, Piers wrote:

At the time he was ordering the British people not to hug anyone from other households...

According to The Sun, the images show him breaking multiple Covid rules on May 6th, while bans on indoor mixing weren't relaxed until May 17th.

This means the health secretary was allegedly failing to adhere to his own restrictions.

This comes after Hancock himself had said Neil Ferguson was right to resign after it was revealed he had broken lockdown rules to meet his lover.

Whitleblowers told The Sun:

Mr Hancock has refused to comment on the allegations.
