Karma is a b*tch

Big mistake pal…

A thief in Sweden this week was left wishing he’d chosen a different career after he stole a mobile phone from a group of sunbathing friends.

Little did he know that one of the bikini-clad women he stole from was an off duty police officer who chased him down, arrested him and retrieved her phone.

Karma is a bitch…

Mikaela Kellner, a police officer for 11 years in Sweden, uploaded this photo to Instagram this week of her apprehending the man.

She told The Local, that a man approached her and her friends under the guise that he was selling magazines for homeless people. He refused to take no for an answer and hung around the group for several minutes, in close proximity to their blankets and bags.

“I told my friends to keep an eye on their things. But as soon as he left one of my friends said ‘where did my mobile phone go?'” according to The Local.

She explained that he’d used the magazines to hide his theft and had actually stolen one of their phones without any of them noticing at the time.

“There was no time, so I ran after him, maybe 15 metres or so. One of my friends is also a police officer, so we got hold of him. He tried to get away so we held onto him harder,” she added.

Something tells us, he immediately regretted his decision to steal this woman’s phone…
