A pet pig that used to belong to Logan Paul has been saved by an animal sanctuary after the animal was found in a “potentially life-threatening” condition.
On Monday, the Gentle Barn posted a video on TikTok about a rescuing a pig, Pearl, with tattered ears and a potentially-life threatening infection who was found alone in a field next to a dead pig
The Gentle Barn is an American nonprofit animal sanctuary located in Santa Clarita, California. They rescue animals and post online about the journey of restoring their rescues to a healthy standard.
It turns out Pearl may have a connection to YouTube megastar Logan Paul.

She came to us with tattered ears and a potentially life-threatening infection in her uterus that has since been healed. She’s clearly been through so much trauma that we can’t begin to imagine, but she’s now safe with us at The Gentle Barn. From what we’ve been told, it’s believed she was purchased originally from a breeder by an influencer. People often buy “mini pigs” or “teacup pigs” for clout online, believing they will stay small. When they inevitably grow very large and have many unexpected needs, they’re sadly discarded. The sanctuary was told that Pearl used to be owned by “an influencer.”
In the caption for the TikTok, the Gentle Barn wrote: “Pearl was found alone in a field next to another pig who had passed away. She came to us with tattered ears and a potentially life-threatening infection in her uterus that has since been healed.
“From what we’ve been told, it’s believed she was purchased originally from a breeder by an influencer.
They explained that people often “buy ‘mini pigs’ or ‘teacup pigs’ for clout online, believing they will stay small.”
“When they inevitably grow very large and have many unexpected needs, they’re sadly discarded,” they added.
Many have speculated that the “influencer” in question is Paul, who used to own a pig also called Pearl.

TMZ also claims to have obtained an email from Paul to the sanctuary thanking them for taking in the animal, and explaining that Pearl had lived with him until April 2020 when he moved to Puerto Rico.
She was then rehomed, but the sanctuary said she had “clearly been through so much trauma that we can’t begin to imagine.”
In his email, Paul said it was “”shocking and heartbreaking” to hear about Pearl’s condition and offered to help contribute to the pig’s care again.
Several people took to Twitter to ask how the pig ended up in such an awful situation.

The sanctuary said Pearl’s life would now be “filled with friends, nutritious foods, the highest quality care, and so much love.”
