People think McDonald’s knows something we don’t after opening store in middle of nowhere with no electricity

McDonald’s has left its fans baffled after it opened a store in a place which has no electricity

Maccies is an absolute staple of modern life, but it seems the fast food outlet knows something that we don’t after they opened up a new store in the middle of nowhere.

They opened up shop at 8075 Avenue Marcel-Villeneuve in Saint-François, Laval in Quebec, Canada.

However, the location has left people baffled as it is in the middle of the countryside, rather than being close to amenities and other people as normal.

“Officially open for business. Our staff awaits you at our new restaurant at 8075 Marcel-Villeneuve, Laval,” the outlet wrote on Facebook, via UNILAD.

Jéremy Lévy of McDonald’s said: “I am delighted to be involved with the community of Saint-François on the occasion of this opening.

“Growing up with a father who is also a McDonald’s franchisee, I have had the opportunity to see him actively involved in the communities in which he operates his restaurants.

“Today, I am very excited to follow in his footsteps and get involved in the same way.”

However, @thumbs.up.canuck on TikTok shared a clip of the new outlet questioning the location.

“It’s literally in the middle of farm field. It’s surrounded by farm, and there’s not even electricity yet. They’re running the damn place on a generator! That’s crazy,” they said.

The video has amassed a lot of attention, with commenters going wild with their theories as to why the new restaurant is in such an odd location.

“Then you know what’s coming they wouldn’t put it there for nothing,” one person wrote.

A second put: “In two years it will be surrounded by houses strategically planned.”

“All the surrounding farms are about to be purchased and sold to developers,” a third theorised.
