People are burning their viral Labubu dolls after the discovery of a wild conspiracy theory.
The toys, which are inspired by the illustrated book series The Monsters, have become all the rage online and have even become a fashion accessory.
However, a chilling theory about the dolls has emerged online leading people to burn them.
The theory goes that the dolls are possessed by an ancient demon called Pazuzu.
Pazuzu stems from Mesopotamian mythology and is also the name of the main antagonist in the iconic horror movie, The Exorcist.
Images of Pazuzu depict the demon as having a wide grin and a pointy smile, similar to Labubus.
According to legend, Pazuzu won a battle against powerful wind demons, thus making him a threat to others of his kind.
One TikTok user has warned people against buying the dolls.
The user who goes by @jessicavibezx and she shared a video of her burning a Labubu doll.
The video's caption read: "DO NOT BUY LABUBU THEY ARE CURSED AND WILL RUIN YOUR LIFE."
Someone else on X wrote: ""Labubu = Pazuzu. Do not invite demons into your home."
Another potential Labubu customer said that the theory would put them off buying one of the dolls.
They said: "I’m not superstitious, I’m a little stitious. But I’d never buy a Labubu.
"It comes from Pazuzu, which is a demon, and possessed the girl in The Exorcist. We’ve got enough inner demons, who needs one more expensive one?"
