Netflix's Million Dollar Beach House star has been killed in a hit-and-run

According to police, they found the famous broker lying unconscious on Hamptons Bays road, per Metro.

She was rushed to Stony Brook University Hospital, only to be pronounced dead not long after.

The police issued an immediate manhunt for the driver, however, details on the driver or car model have yet to be released.

Sara Burack rose to fame on Netflix's Million Dollar Beach House.

The reality show followed a group of young and exclusive Hampton brokers based at Nest Seekers agency, a global firm specialising in luxury properties.

Even though Burack had left the agency over a year ago, she still kept in touch with her former colleagues.

Nest Seekers's regional manager, Geoff Gifkins has paid tribute to his ex-colleague and friend in a statement: "Please be kind and respectful as this is a tremendous loss to her parents and close friends."

When Million Dollar Beach House first aired on Netflix, it was quickly dubbed the East Coast spin on Selling Sunset, due to its luxurious listings and fair share of reality drama.
