Mum banned from Halloween party after planning Jeffrey Dahmer costume for baby

She’s taken aim at ‘Karens’ for getting her banned from the party

A mum has been banned from a Halloween party after telling organisers that she planned to dress her baby daughter up as Jeffrey Dahmer.

Mother-of-four  Carla Bellucci will now have to celebrate alone after being told she was not welcome at the party, with some labelling her “sick.”

She’s since blamed ‘Karen’s’ for not being able to see the funny side of her plan.

Speaking with the Daily Star, she said: “To say it didn’t go down well is an understatement and Blu is now off the list.

“I thought it was a genius idea and that it would be mega. A lot of people go as Chucky and I thought it would be funny and an easy costume. Just stick a wig on her and I’d be sorted.

“They said I was sick but they take things too seriously. I was just thinking it’s Halloween and rather than Mike Myers, let’s do Jeffrey Dahmer because it’s a major trend right now.

“He has become a sort of Halloween character like Mike Myers… I mean he used to get fan mail in prison.”

She continued: “I just think these Karens need to calm down because there are more important things going on. They need to remember this all happened a long time ago.

“To be honest I think it’s because it was me. Any other parent could send their kids as Jeffrey Dahmer and it would be ‘ha ha ha’. But because it was me they quickly got their claws out.”

Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story dropped on Netflix last month and Evan Peters star as the famed murderer.

Also known as the ‘Milwaukee Cannibal’ or the ‘Milwaukee Monster’, Dahmer killed and dismembered 17 men and boys between 1978 and 1991.

He would lure his victims back to his home by promising to pay them to pose nude for photographs

He then drugged and strangled them and generally mutilated and occasionally cannibalised their bodies.

Dahmer was arrested in July 22, 1991 and entered a plea of guilty but insane in 15 of the 17 murders he confessed to.

He was convicted of murdering 15 men and boys between 1978 and 1991 and sentenced to serve 15 consecutive life sentences in February 1992.

Two years after being jailed, Dahmer, then aged 34, was killed by fellow inmate Christopher Scarver.

When asked whether she could see why dressing Blu as Dahmer would be controversial, Carla said she “just thought it would be funny”, adding “let’s face it, even though he is this killer, everyone is in love with the series.”

She continued: “I loved it and thought it was brilliant. If it wasn’t a Netflix series people wouldn’t even know who he was.

“It’s awful for the victim’s families but Netflix has sort of glorified him. We almost fall in love with the character because he’s become a character rather than a serial killer because of the way they portrayed him.

“I didn’t think anything of the costume and it was just a joke. I didn’t think of any consequences.”

People have already been warned not to dress up as the serial killer or romanticise him following the popularity of the Netflix drama.
