M&S have launched a new limited-edition strawberries and cream sandwich for the summer

Marks and Spencer have released their summer special, a limited-edition 'Strawberries & Creme Sandwich'.

The new sweet treat is inspired by the viral Japanese fruit sandwich that did the rounds on TikTok not too long ago.

The sandwich is filled with M&S's sweet and juicy British Red Diamond Strawberries with a thick layer of whipped cream cheese on sweetened bread.

It may look and taste like a dessert, but you can find the snack along with M&S's other sandwiches.

According to the popular chain, the viral sandwich is ideal for picnics with a sip of their Rockferne English sparkling rosé.

The sandwich is yours for the taking for £2.80.

However, M&S does claim that their 'game-changing' limited edition Red Diamond Strawberry & Creme Sandwich won't be around for long, so if you want to try this soon-to-be viral sensation, you best be quick.
