Planned rail strikes due to go ahead next week have been cancelled out of respect for the Queen.
RMT union has announced it will call off planned walkouts on September 15th and 17th as the nation pays its respect to its longest-reigning monarch.
Mick Lynch said: "RMT joins the whole nation in paying its respects to Queen Elizabeth.
"The planned railway strike action on September 15 and 17 is suspended.
"We express our deepest condolences to her family, friends and the country."
