McDonald's announces it is 'launching' limited edition milkshake dips with every order of fries
What day is it again?
If you've ever bought McDonald's fries and a milkshake, there's every chance that you've given in to the temptation and dipped a couple of fries into the shake. The sweetness of the shake works surprisingly well with the saltiness of the fries, in case you were unaware.
You may think this sounds either great or awful, but it's more common than you might think, and now McDonald's has said it is releasing a new menu item for all the milkshake dippers out there.
As of April 1, the fast food chain has announced it will be offering four classic McDonald’s Milkshake flavours – banana, strawberry, chocolate and vanilla - in dip form to any customer purchasing fries.
The brand says it has developed the new dip pots in reaction to social media posts in 2016 which revealed just how many customers undertake fry dipping, and have decided to cut out the middle man and simply give you that sweet, sweet milkshake dip right there.
