Josh Kaplan

McDonald’s has confirmed that they will be re-opening after closing their doors on March 23rd.

In a message from the McDonald’s UK CEO, the chain announced that the first stage of their reopening plan is set to start on May 14th.

Customers will only be able to order from via Uber Eats and it’s a limited opening of just 15 restaurants. The chain have not announced which 15 have be chosen, but are expected to give an update next week.

The lucky restaurants set to open will only operate from 11am to 10pm which sadly means breakfast will be unavailable.

They’ll also be instituting contactless payment as well as other measures to comply with social distancing.

Staff will be given protective equipment and will undergo temperature checks before starting each shift.
