Homenews

Terminal two of Manchester Airport was evacuated on Thursday night after an unattended bag was found outside the airport.

Some reports claimed that the bag "tested positive" for a device, but these reports were not been comfirmed by the airport or by security authorities. But the bag was described as "suspect" according to the Manchester Evening News, who also said the bag was seen to be left in the car park at Terminal two between 6pm and 7pm. Manchester Airport confirmed via Twitter that passengers had been evacuated. https://twitter.com/manairport/status/766353065528156160 https://twitter.com/manairport/status/766354045682520064

And eyewitness video showed people walking along the dual carriageway.
