Although Jonathon miraculously survived being hit by the train, his hand was crushed (SWNS)[/caption]
The train conductor then jumped out the train and wrapped Jonathon's arms and legs in tourniquets before calling for an ambulance.
The train had caved in both his shins, with his knees broken.
He was placed in a medically induced coma for 15 days, during which time doctors had to amputate half of his right hand.

He ended up having his lower right leg amputated as well.
He now shares videos on TikTok (@yonniemyth) of how he goes about his everyday life with his unique hand, sharing clips of how he can still move the muscles that used to control his other fingers, and demonstrating how he can still play video games.
He compares the sensation of moving the muscles that used to control his amputated fingers to the tightness you feel when you spread out your hand. He said: “I can feel that but five times as tight, you don’t get the movement. “With these two fingers they said I could do 85% of things once I could start doing stuff again, and they didn’t lie . “I can open drinks, a lot of people were shocked I can play video games! “The only thing I can't do is carry extra stuff when my hands are full.” Jonathon has since saved up $4,000 for a mechanical hand that will allow him to play golf again.
