A man has died after he was attacked by a tiger at Yorkshire Wildlife Park, near Doncaster, as confirmed by police, and reported on by BBC News.
Per the report, South Yorkshire Police were called to the park after 1pm, following reports that a man had entered the tiger enclosure at the park.
Per the BBC, the man was "subsequently attacked" by the tiger and he died at the scene.
Police are also reported to have said that the tiger was unharmed, and remained in the enclosure throughout the incident, which means there is no wider threat to public safety.
The following statement has been provided by police, again as cited in the BBC's report: "We are aware of videos circulating online and we would encourage people not to share this footage."
The park was evacuated and will remain closed over the remainder of the weekend.
